1. Who we are
BidDesk is operated by BidDesk ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@getbiddesk.com.
2. What we collect
- Email address you enter on our signup form.
- Preferences you choose: states and industry (NAICS) codes.
- Consent records: signup time, the form/source you used, the time you confirmed by email, and (if enabled) a one-way hash of your IP address — kept as proof of your opt-in.
- Unsubscribe records: the time you unsubscribed, so we never email you again.
- Basic technical data handled by our hosting provider (e.g., request logs, bot/abuse protection).
We do not ask for payment card details on this site.
3. How we use it
Only to: send the confirmation email; send the digest you asked for, matched to your preferences; operate, secure and improve the service; keep consent/unsubscribe records; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not email anyone who has not confirmed a subscription.
4. Double opt-in
We'll send a confirmation email before any digest; you receive nothing until you confirm.
5. Service providers
- Hosting and database: Cloudflare, Inc. (Pages, Workers, D1).
- Email delivery: Resend.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and data-processing addenda.
6. Unsubscribing and your choices
Every email has an unsubscribe link (and a one-click List-Unsubscribe header). We stop sending promptly, and in any case within 7 days. You can also email hello@getbiddesk.com to access, correct or delete your data.
7. Retention
Active subscriber data: while you are subscribed. After unsubscribe: we keep your email and the unsubscribe date only to honor the opt-out (suppression list).
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, hashed tokens). No system is perfectly secure.
9. Children
BidDesk is a business service, not directed to anyone under 18.
10. State privacy rights
Contact us at hello@getbiddesk.com to access or delete your data.
11. Changes
We will post updates here with a new effective date and notify subscribers of material changes by email.
